About NFTs
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) represent unique digital objects, such as art, collectibles, or virtual land, on blockchain networks.
In addition to creating paintings, Yvonne Hakkert has been one of the first professional digital artists in Amsterdam since the early 1990s. Her artworks can be found in both private and public collections, as well as NFTs.
Definition and explanation of NFTs
NFT stands for 'non-fungible token'. 'Non-fungible' means that something is unique and not replaceable.
Physical money and crypto currencies are fungible: they can be exchanged or swapped for the other.
Each NFT contains a digital signature, making each NFT unique.
